Sunglasses for me were never a splurge item. I seemed to just grab whatever pair I could find, including the ones left in the passenger seat of my car compliments of my forever-forgetful friends. That was until I laid my eyes on the collection of Quay sunglasses found in a local chain of boutiques called Privilege. It was my first time in their Guildford Mall location; the service was pleasant and endlessly helpful as I tried on almost every pair that caught my eye.

 

Quay is anything but local. Based out of Australia Quay is the brainchild of Linda and Allen Hammond and was brought to the International Market in 2009. Not only does Quay have a freethinking & nonconforming brand message they pride themselves on being fairly manufactured with strict labor guidelines. I am happy to see a freestanding boutique like Privilege carry brands that I can relate to while still being affordable to my demographic. Not to mention they look marvelous on.
